This is the preferred route home for many ERs particularly on the 5:15 pm bus. This takes maybe 10 minutes longer than the sprint up the highway but is quieter and safer. It is at is best on summer evenings as you traverse some of the best streets on the North Shore but you need to concentrate as we turn at virtually every junction.
This map includes the St Ives Alps (Rosedale Rd) and Lymbarra which is probably the best route from Gordon to North Turramurra.
